This is my first houseplant and I ordered it online due to lockdown, probably a bad idea in retrospect. It arrived with a leaf broken off, a small patch of brown on two leaves, and one leaf that didn't look healthy at all which I removed from the plant (first photo is the leaf I removed).

Once I moved it into my house in a spot not in direct sunlight and misted the leaves it soon perked up a lot. However, the brown has continued to spread for about a week now. I've not repotted the plant yet and it has drainage holes. I have moved plant to an even more shaded area as someone suggested it could be a sunburn but despite moving the plant it's still getting browner each day on more leaves. Second photo shows the 'brown' that's spreading on multiple leaves.

Any advice would be appreciated as this is my first plant. Sad
