I had an exceptional looking seedling that I registered 2 years ago. I wanted to move it from the seedling bed in the fall, so I surrounded the entire clump with a piece of yarn so that I could not possibly dig out the wrong clump. Well guess what, I don't know what happened to my beautiful flower. In its new location the bloom is entirely different. I have never seen a bloom change so drastically. I am so disappointed. I keep rethinking the plant I moved and if it could be the correct one but being that I had it marked, I don't know how I could possibly have the wrong plant. Look at the differences in the pictures please and see for yourself. The eyezone is even a different color. Maybe another summer will change its appearance.
