The botanical name is Fagus sylvatica 'Roseomarginata' (also listed as 'Tricolor' and 'Purpurea Tricolor', as per UConn)
These trees have come to be all the rage, however, they need to be planted as an under-story tree. I've desperately wanted one for years but do not have a proper site for it. Too much sun and that beautiful pink becomes a nice crispy brown.
