Well, I just noticed that a new page load is slow again. Geez ..... I've seen that slowdown 3 times in the last 25 minutes. Sad

Trying to upload a pic into the database just now, very slow which brought me to this thread to see if anyone else is having a problem.

I have had cellphone pictures load very slowly to the site, but haven't tried loading them to the data base. I assume the smaller photos had conflicts with Daves resizing program.

Uh Oh, I spoke too soon. Dave your tweak seems to have come undone. Slow or no loading again on the Orchids forum, and It took a long time to load a photo from my PC to the Epiphyllums forum.

My likely, my tweaks never fixed it but it was coincidental that things went fine for a time. I'm continuing to spend time on this.

I've had zero difficulty uploading but have noticed some pics in some threads hang longer than I wait...

Biggest glitch I'v encountered is the Microsoft notification asking if I'm sure I want to leave a page while paging through individual threads but that could easily be on my end and only when using IE. Doesn't happen with every page and again my PC is getting tired.

Dave - Is there any other info we could provide to help you, since you are not seeing the issue from your end?

Uh ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's backkkkkkkkkkkk. This morning, photos failing to open or extremely slow to open, some do, some don't and in threads I'm watching/posting on, whacky things are happening with the pages loading ~~~ loading at the top of the page that I've already read before, not loading until I scroll down on the page, crazy things going on. Anyone else? I'm all ears!

Yup, last night I had several photos that wouldn't load. I hit the "refresh" button, though, and then they would load. Other pages, like the forums, have a noticeable delay when I click on them. Mostly, the skipping to the newest post takes a moment.

Same here, slow issues today.

Yesterday, couple of times I tried to load photos and nothing at all happened but I tried again later and it worked. I wondered if maybe it was because Dave was working on the program?

Yes, it is very intermittent. I, too, was unable to open up several photos and finally just gave up. Refreshing the page didn't work for me. The photos just wouldn't enlarge at all. And at times pages are very slow to fully load onto my screen. Then other times everything seems normal. So weird .... Confused Confused
