I planted Lemon Habanero, Orange Habenaro, and Big Jim peppers this weekend!

Going to try to hold off a bit on others. I think I am going to pass on superhots this year, I didn't use much of what I grew last year. I wound up using cayenne hot sauce the most, going to try for more of that.

I'm subscribed to this thread but have not even start thinking about pepper seeds yet, I know I will try a few varieties.

Glad to see thread. Im shocked but my peppers are up. It usually takes them forever. Im also waiting on some plants from chiliplants. Its impossible to get thru all their peppers but I sure like trying them. I love pimento peppers but dont do well with seeds. I find im always using cubanelles as well, so more of those this year. Just excited about seeing everyones list and then pictures. Peppers make such pretty pictures. Alot f my seeds are not here yet which is a bummer. Getting late to start tomatoes.

I'd like a tangy GWR tomato for sandwiches. Patio Baby eggplant is on my list.
I planted radishes yesterday which means red strings/small leaves sprouts. I never get actual radishes. I think I have exactly one time. Shrug!

I was digging through my seed box and found Jalapeño M, Poblano, Ajvarski sweet pepper from Rareseeds, however I couldn't find my cayenne peppers, both the long and the short version. I think I need to find the short version, mine died.

I've got 'Big Jim Chilie' (I'll have to check that name, it's at least something similar) and 'Jalapeño,' as well as some others. For sweet peppers, I've got a few. I'm planning on starting my seeds indoors February 20.

All the seeds I collected from last year's peppers are dried and waiting for the right moment to be planted. They're quite patient.

I, too, share the pain of having to wait to start seeds

This year, I've planned on growing Craig's Jalapeno and that Hungarian hot yellow wax banana that someone gave me (I'm resting after my siesta and still too drowsy/lazy to get up and go look in the Plant Room for the exact name and kind soul. . I think it was weedwhacker)

The first of March is when my pepper grower for the MG sale starts hers.
I gave her a whole pack of those buena mulata pepper seeds and told her to grow some for the sale, one for me and the rest for herself and her family. Her son puts a large garden in every year that's mostly hot peppers. He cans the peppers, too.
Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

I'm trying to plan my seed starting dates by the moon phases this year - so my pepper seeds will be getting started on March 15th (a couple of days before the full moon); oddly, that is the date that I would have started them if I wasn't thinking about moon phases Shrug!

Rita, did you get much snow from that last storm?
