Hi everyone, just wanted to spread the word that Mid-America is having a clearance sale on intros and some general varieties. The list is being sent out through email so if you are interested and DOMESTIC (sorry no foreign orders), reach out to Mid-America for the list. Below are the terms and contact info.

Dear Customer,

We are once again having an end of season clearance sale. Most varieties listed in this sale have been discounted by 50% or more. Many minimally priced Iris will be discontinued after this year. It is always difficult to discontinue certain varieties but we must in order to make room for new varieties. The sale is good only until September 1. No orders will be accepted after that time. We need to have time to get the entire field lifted and replanted before the fall rains begin-we hope!! Since there is only two of us and it is all dug by hand with the shovel, it takes us a long time. Sorry no foreign shipping for this sale. Orders will be shipped in rotation, first in first out, and will be dug and shipped as soon as possible. There is no bonus or gift plants on these already discounted orders. At these prices we ask that you order a minimum of three rhizomes per variety on all 2018 Mid-America Garden introductions that are in this sales list. All other varieties may be purchased individually. There are no further discounts applied to these sales prices There is also a minimum order total of $100 worth of iris plus shipping. Shipping charges will be the same as on regularly priced orders. The plants shipped are nice mature rhizomes not small left overs. We will not substitute without permission but since many varieties are in short supply a list of alternatives in order of priority is recommended. Please send your orders via email to [email protected]. Please note that the website is closed and is not accepting orders, you will need to email me the iris you want and I will prepare the order for you Your order will be confirmed and you will be notified what the charges are. Payment can then be made via paypal or we will contact you for your credit card information.

Please note that the sale is only for customers who have ordered from Mid-America within the last two years. For those of you who have the list is quite nice.

I think the initial email was only sent to customers from the last two years but it is actually public for anyone interested. He asked me to post it on the forum and it is on the Mid-America Facebook page.

Yes there is a minimum of $100, and with the new intros you must purchase at least 3 rhizomes per variety. The general list can all be purchased individually.

Those individual purchase ones can add up in a hurry..... Whistling Thank heavens for my wallet that non-intro medians aren't on the sale list. I might really go overboard.

Lucy, if you end up needing a new printer and you have a Staples near you, you can trade the old one in for $50 off a new printer. At Bestbuy, you can get 15% off a new HP printer when you trade in your old printer.
