Me too, Melissa. I'd be in heaven if a hybridizer would put the culls in a box and send them to me!

Exactly! I can't bear to throw any plants away, so I propagate everything I trim off my plants.

Two more things.

If you are driving here could you stick a folding/ lawn chair in the trunk? I have seats for ~12-15 but it would be great if you could bring an extra to help out with seating.

Second, if you could buddy up on vehicles for the day of the clinic that would help my driveway to hold everybody. We can get three rows of cars in the driveway and that should get us all in fairly well.

Also wanted to tell you I was at Robert's Crossing on Sunday night (thanking my PT for getting my neck into shape) and I had the Blackened Shrimp that is one of our dinner options. It's REALLY good although ALL the options are good ones.

Kevin, we could drop off the chairs we would normally sit on at your place to help with at least 2 more seats for special somebodies.

Don't forget to pot up your best seedling and bring it to the meeting. A special prize will be given to the winner of the competition! I am NOT competing.

Should be fun!!

Like the idea but your guess is a little off.

I like your guess, Sol. I'm a tweezer person and a pair is always in my hand whenever I do a look-see of my semps. You never know when a dead leaf(s) need your attention! Smiling

I to have used them for clean up as well as Hybridizing Bev. The flat tipped kind do a much better job of pulling dead leaves than can be done by hand. As a matter of fact some fir-ball just knocked a rather large raised planter onto my colony of Pacific Taffy Pink and got pumice stuck in the rosettes Grumbling !!! Yet another situation that merits some tweezer work.

Yes, another reason to get those tweezers! I have them in 3 different bluntness of tips but all the tweezers are 6 inches in length. These are not the eyebrow tweezers...
