Hello, I have bought a house and it has 3 of the same plants/trees in the yard which I don't know what they are. They look like weeds however the last owner has put stakes next to them to support their growth. The garden is very well looked after so it seems unlikely that they would be weeds. Are you able to identify them please?

Welcome to NGA, Psychdarrin. The close up of the trunks and some of the leaf pics made me think of Crape Myrtles. Over here, they are deciduous; tolerate heat, humidity, drought; have a showy bark that peels/flakes off; develop white/red/pink/purple clusters of flowers in the Summer; tend to awaken from dormancy quite late in Spring and produce basal suckers; some develop very nice Fall foliage. They can be grown in tree-form or as shrubs. After eating the seeds, birds help spread them all around. Luis

That's is a compound leaf. Crepe Myrtles have single leaves. That plant reminds me of Ailianthus, Tree of Heaven. It is a very fast growing invasive species.

Agree not Lagerstroemia...Common name Crepe myrtle.
Not right either for Ailanthus altissima...common name Tree of Heaven.
Leaves wrong shape, no evidence of glands on the leaves.

Hmm!
Not sure that is right either.
Toona do not normally have a terminal leaflet.
Pics show terminal leaflet.
