This is their second year but they didn't have any leaves last year. I have noticed that lilium candidum sometimes does this for an unknown reason. The bulb grows underground for one or two seasons and only then do the first leaves grow. 2y ago I had 14/16 bulb that has no leaves that season but this year my smallest scale bulbs have small leaves. Strange.
About winter leaves; They are green all the time here probably 'cause my winters are mild. We had a lot of rainy days but they managed to survive. I know people said that winter leaves die when new ones start to grow but that's not the case here.

Now I want to ask you about light requirements. Part sun/shade place? Also, can i hide them behind shade net?

I've been waiting for my lily species bulbs package for a month. Customs problems. People who work there don't know their own import and export laws and create problems. Frustrating. Grumbling

I finally got my shipment of lilies. If there were a few more days left at customs, I would have huge losses. 'Uchida' and regale 'Album' have grown quite a bit already, but aren't damaged:
Thumb of 2021-03-11/Lucius93/f6f9b1

I also got one more sulphureum, few small formosanum (dwarf) and lilium leucanthum (type and centifolium) seeds.
Unfortunately, there is also a lilium lijiangense with a broken stem. Crying The bulb is still healthy so I planted it. Is there a possibility of survival or not?

I don't think there are any Lilium spp. that require above ground growth to survive through that one year. Successive years could be a problem, though. Some species' bulbs will still increase in mass, despite the lack of leaves.

I would just plant the lijiangense bulb in the ground with your other growing asiatic lilies. The moderated temperature and steadier moisture content will be very beneficial. When a bulb does not have leaves to support, it doesn't use much water. If you have it in a pot, it will be difficult to gauge its water needs. In other words - easy to overwater.

I don't have space in the ground anymore. I planted it in the pot. Nice humus rich soil + perlite.
Good to know it can survive.

Henryi has the shortest dormancy period of any lily (won't count candidum winter leaves). Here it is green until the end of the year and then in 3 months it starts to grow.

I put them in a shaded place so they could lightly turn green the natural way without the sun scorching them.

It is very difficult to plant bulbs like this with a grown curved stem. I will never buy bulbs again in the spring.

Nice list Arturo! Cannot wait for your photos. Smiling
Just one small advice. Plant pink lilies (especially OT hybrids like 'Robina') apart from others. For some reason those lilies are very virus prone and sometimes you receive them ill so it's best thing to plant them away from others and wait to see 1st blooms to be 100% sure they are healthy.

Thank you Luka for your advice! Thank You! I will be planting them in grow bags individually. So I shouldn't be worried of viruses being shared in the soil. Now, the other possibility are viruses spread by bugs ( aphids perhaps)...then these I will regularly check and treat if needed with some systemic chem. They will be placed in my warm heated greenhouse. Of course I don't want anything to spread to my vegetables either.
Part of this out of season purchase is to find out a bit around growing these pre-conditioned bulbs as they are now being exported to us here. Hopefully, I'll get another batch in our mid winter and if any left over from the vendor in late spring. Only the latter will I want to plant outside directly in the ground. By then I will have a better understanding about detecting signs of viruses and keeping my plants isolated.
From my exchanges with my vendor, apparently 2020 was a poor year for bulb production worldwide (COVID indirectly related) and a greatly enhanced market demand in Europe and Far East also spurred by soaring gardening because of COVID lockdowns. So bulb availability is unpredictable when it will happen. That is why in my given circumstances, I will stick to what I get in each buy, rather than a planned action spread in time.
Yes, when in bloom I'll try to take pictures and share them here. I read that you also have Robina in your buys. Perhaps we both get blooms almost the same time.... Smiling

Just check regulary and you should be fine. Lilies don't like too much chemicals.

I had it for 5y. Now I am growing species and only few (5-6) hybrids.
