Hi! Looks like one of these:
Chinese Evergreen (Aglaonema commutatum)
It may have spider mites, or just unhappy roots. You could cut off some stems, stick them in jar(s) of water, put near a sunny window. Roots should start to appear in a week or two. Then try putting those stems in a new pot with new soil. Use a pot where excess water can run out after you water it. If you decide to try this, the stumps on the mama plant will grow one or more new stems to replace the one(s) you cut.
For this mama plant, if it is in a decorative outer pot without drain holes, take it out of the outer pot to water. If you feel like making the effort, try giving it collected rain water or distilled water and see if it improves. Removing the damaged leaves would help improve its' appearance and allow more light to reach the healthier leaves.
When cutting into this plant, it's best to wash your hands afterward in case any of the sap from inside the plant has gotten on your skin. If you are one of those who can get a rash from the sap in this plant, it's miserable, worth avoiding finding out at all.
