Wow, throughout history there sure have been a lot of them.

Honestly is is so dry here, we could use a nice lingering tropical depression. Whistling

A nice gentle 24 hour shower would be lovely. Only may and I'm already sick of dragging hoses

Yep my well is low, one rain barrel empty, the other is getting close, I rarely have to use the City water, but the low humidity and winds are drying things out. Quite a few wildfires on the map Sighing! .

My grass is crackling and curling and turning gray. Yes, we need rain. I don't know about a lingering tropical depression Sherri but we could use a nice low.

Our irrigation system controller has died so I am hauling hoses these days. Can't find a repair person but my son, says he will install a new one when he arrives next month.

I alternately curse and hail hoses. They can get tangled for no reason at all. They are out to trip you that's all there is to it. They love nothing better than to kink when you're almost where you want to go and the kink is all the way back there where you came from.
On the other hand, what in the world would we do without hoses?

I really have to agree about the hoses as mine do that all the time. About the time I am ready to water some plants the hose gets kinked and I
get no water. Then I have to find the kink and unkink the hose before I can water the plant!

I use the Rapid Flo lightweight hoses and never had a problem until this year, all of a sudden they are kinking. The hoses are about 6 years old and as expected, they are guaranteed for 5 years. Whistling They have never leaked and I dragged them through woods and rocks so I really can't complain. I also bought a small stainless steel hose for an area where I only needed a 25' and I love that one, it never kinks and due to the way it is made I think it would be impossible for it to kink. It hardly weighs anything and it is so easy to use. When I get too frustrated with the Rapid Flo's I may break down and buy another stainless one.

My husband bought the cheapest hose last year for the back garden and it is the worst kinking hose ever! We were just talking about the Rapid Flo last night, I was thinking for my back garden it would work better, lots of turns and bends to go around in my garden. I've not see a Stainless Steel hose, gonna go read up on that one.

We got a City notice yesterday we can only water one day a week due to the drought, we just went to two days when daylight savings started, even if you have a well. Looks like starting Saturday we're starting a chance of afternoon thunderstorms, I noticed the humidity was much higher this morning than it has been. Crossing Fingers!

We are still at 2 days but I just saw this on the notice. "Restrictions apply to private wells and pumps, ground or surface water and water from public and private utilities." So, even if you are drawing from a lake or pond you are restricted in our district.

We are going on 4 days of overcast rainy weather. If the temperatures actually dropped I would be so happy. Instead, it is hot, muggy, and my plants are drowning. Thumbs down
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

The approaching storm doesn't sound dangerous, just lots of rain. I'm looking forward to some rain. It's DRY here! But it looks like father's day kayaking & paddleboarding might be postponed.

Well it does look like storm # 3 will be a rain maker for parts of Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. But Texas is just going to have to deal with regular weather! And it
appears per the forecast that we are going to get some of that rainy weather next week!

It sure is warm already here this morning, a good five degrees warmer than most mornings, some spit rain making it muggy.

Sometimes these storms are good rain makers which is greatly needed, I don't see any wildfires on the radar map up there this morning, there has been quite a few in the past weeks.
