There are probably thousands of irises with pink colors out there, so I knew already that it was going to be really difficult to find. But I assure you, I know what I saw! Or maybe I really am just wacko.

If you saw the iris on one of the threads, it may not necessarily be in the data base.

Tom, I didn't see it in a thread; it was the popular photo on the site for one day, and then it was in the popular photos list for a week.

That one is one of the closest ones yet! The petals just aren't smooth enough (too many hills and frills on the edges), and it's still a bit too lavender.

That one picture of 'Christmas Present' by Sue at the bottom of the DB page actually looks a lot like it, except it's missing the other rainbow-y colors.

I was just looking through all of the iris bloom photos in the database (by popularity) and came across Tom's photo of Sugar High. This one is the closest one yet:

This is totally the one. I even traced my thumbs-up given, and it was 2020 when it was the popular photo. And I totally remember now it being UndertheSun who posted it.

Oh yeah, and I guess it didn't really have touches of other colors on it. My bad! It was two years ago, so my memory was a bit wonky.

Ok. Not "rainbowy" at all. just an intense pink. And no "touches of purple." No wonder we couldn't find it. But I'm glad you finally did.

There are touches of purple at the ends of the petals, or whatever you call them.

That's so pretty though!!!
