It took me a couple of minutes to figure out where the new username was; this is one of those things I never would have thought to request, but now that we have it I think it's brilliant!

Have to admit, I thought it was a non-issue initially. Now I see how very handy it will be, especially for those of us who use phones! Good work to all who pursued this suggestion.

The new change (which I like) has taken away the link to edit posts. That link no longer appears on a post of mine when I view it in context, but it reappears when I click the link to that one post in isolation (on that page the new change has not been implemented). Maybe someone else can confirm or deny this has happened to them.

Added after further observation: this issue happens on both computer and phone, but only in the Cactus and Succulent forum, and not in this one. So maybe it is related to me being a moderator there?

Yes, same thing here! I can no longer edit on the Orchid forum ( moderator) but the edit button is still in place for me in other forums.

Yes, it tidies up that bottom line for moderators and admins. Let's rely on Manage from here on.

I was sort of following this thread so at one point I was confused as to what the request was. But now that I see what Dave did... It helps a lot with folks that make a long post or one that contains a lot of photos. I tend to forget whose post I was just looking at by the time I make it to the bottom.

Dave, thanks for making it so much easier to find the poster's name instead of scrolling back to the top of the post! Thank you Frank, for the suggestion and Thank you Nancy for the location idea!

Vickie, I think you can if you remove the spaces between them, and they are not too wide. These pics are side-by-side on my screen.

I miss that feature but my pictures must be too wide because it's not working here. :(

Trying the side by side again. I don't think either of these pics are in the dabatase.


ETA: I guess one of them was. Sometime after I posted, then checked, the 2nd pic connected to itself in the DB and that put a return between the pics.

So it doesn't work for DB pics, but does work for other pics if they are not wide and the space is removed before hitting finished button. It might still render differently on a different browser or device if the resolution is enlarged.

Tiffany, are you resizing your photos before upload?
