Don't you all have the ability to adjust the brightness on your computers? I always keep mine way down because otherwise it does burn my retinas. I keep mine set on 4 or 5 out of about 20.

I've been playing with my homepage.... needs more work but I'll get there. Thumbs up
As some others have stated, I too feel lopsided with everything over to the left in the threads but I think I'll get used to it in time. I use Safari and there are the bookmarks & reading list on the left of my screen which really helps to balance out this new look so that I'm not all the way to the left but somewhere shy of centered.

That is my experience. Or, if I knew how to find the url another way, I could input myself

What is your zoom set at when viewing your plant list? Anything above 75 and I can't see the right side columns.

@Seedfork my screen resolution is 1366 x 768 on my lap top and I have my zoom at 100% and don't have any scrolling.

It's dark maroon?! I can't tell that it looks any different when I have a notification. I'm just here thinking that it didn't notify other than the pale blue box (which I can't see). Because it goes from Dark gray(?) to dark red, it makes sense that I can't see the change (I am red-green colorblind). It just continues to look dark gray to me.

@dave
If you could put a # in the bell & envelope or beside them then that would certainly solve the problem for people who are color blind.

My options are now working!!! Not sure if Dave fixed my problem or what, but it is working perfectly now.

I really like the changes and options. Wishing to be able to select the background color is truly my only issue at this point. I see that it is more grey than white now, but still too bright for me. I think it is the fact that I have stigmatism or the beginnings of cataracts or something. But the bright white/gray does bother my eyes.

It's not a "mouse issue", but a functionality issue. On cell phones and tablets you just simply cannot, whether via touch or mouse.

I love the green, btw! So much better than the bright blue against the white. Calming and more of an "original" feel.

I was wondering that also. I see blue letters on header material; black text for posts. The box background is white and the webpage background is a very, very light gray. The gray background on the header bar is darker and it's light.

I've played around and customized my home page ... as usual, I think it will take some time to get comfortable. I do have one suggestion @Dave for the threads we are following ...

In the old format once we had viewed the thread and exited, it's clear that we have read the latest entry. When there is new activity on the thread, it is indicated by NEW and at a glace I know to go back a visit the thread. I am not seeing that in the new upgrade and would find it valuable for watching a thread like this one.

Everything else is looking quite good. Thank you.

Never mind ... after playing a while tonight, I found the threads disappeared and then re-appeared when there was new activity ... blushing ... I wrote too soon ... ooops
I'd rather weed than dust ... the weeds stay gone longer.
