A gorgeous Asiatic hybrid by Chris North. It has both Lilium lankongense and Lilium lancifolium blood and beautiful, downfacing orange blooms with mottled markings. This lily likes to wander underground before emerging and supposedly forms numerous stem bulblets. It has a light, pleasant fragrance that can only be detected if your nose is in the blossom.

Although my first year stems were smashed by a construction crew, they survived to bloom nicely on shorter-than-expected 24 inch stems. I have high hopes for this cultivar for next season. A charmer!
