Tai chi class on Tuesday,
Dentist appointment on Thursday,
Haircut on Friday

lol, Ive got all those next week too. Dentist is the only one that whigs me a little. Could be worse, you could be the dentist in everyones mouth, they deal with this all the time Im telling myself.

Growing up our milk was delivered by the milkman in glass bottles. The cream always rose to the top so the milk always needed shaking. To this day I find myself shaking the jug sometimes😏

OOOO OK, well shake I will. I never usually buy whole milk but its not like I had a choice. Just got this .......

I have cancelled all our appointments for the next month or so. Nothing was urgent, it was all check ups and haircuts, etc. No sense in getting too close to someone who might have been close to a sickie. I feel bad for people like the hair stylists that depend on customers for their income. Guess I will leave a really big tip next month and hope that helps.

Hair Ive got to get to. Havent had it cut since my Mother died last year and I cant take the chance they will close.

My son has been sitting in jail for about 2 weeks...court on wed...he is hoping to get out...he just called..not feeling well😯🤔😯 oh joy oh bliss...if he gets cut loose I hope he doesn't come here. My bad I know but who knows what's incubating in the jail

Funny I was just think about that. Jails, courtrooms....what will happen with court?

Who knows...video between inmates and judge and lawyer??? Really don't think they want to keep people in jail for petit stuff..if "proper" health protocol isn't followed think of the liability. Whatever happens I don't plan to be there...we shall see

DIL is a federal public defender and has cancelled all of her jail visits. They are not certain what the courts will do yet, that news comes in the morning.

Miami and Ft. Lauderdale closing public beaches...Spring breakers are not going to like that at all. Wonder if they're gonna do that in Daytona I bet the residents wish they would.

Got my 87 year old dad to cancel his upcoming doctor appointments, none were important, I do not want to be sitting in the VA hospital waiting room if I don't need to.

Good move, so much of that can be done over the phone or via texting anymore.

Closing the beaches? WOW, that is big.

THIS IS SERIOUS FOLKS and you guys are in a perilous situation.
Sounds like a lot here are older folks, like myself.
It's about to get a whole lot worse especially for us....so hold on.
I see people in the US are stocking up on guns. Thank heavens we don't have that problem here.

I had not heard that but some folks will do anything to protect their stash of toilet paper.

I don't mean to make light of the situation, this morning I was on the phone with a Tele Doc getting my bronchitis diagnosed. So far I do not have a fever but I was told (because of my advanced age) if I do spike a fever I am to call the ER immediately. These are scary times.

Oh no we are supposed to go stay the weekend at St Augustine Beach the last weekend of March

My husband is on faculty at UF and has a dual appointment at the VA...he texted me this morning that the VA has cancelled all elective surgeries until further notice and he expects SHands to do the same

Well good, it was hard to talk my Dad into not going to his nutrition appointment, he just went for his last check up on a minor surgery so he's good to stay home for awhile. His meds come by mail, so that's good.


Guess as far as future reservations, we'll have to wait and see, we have a camping trip the first of April, I do believe in this situation all reservations would be refunded just like when we have a hurricane, which has happened to us quite a few times in the past.

I hit the jackpot at Sams, got everything I looked for at publix last week. Had breakfast at cracker barrel Every place as crowded as ever. I dont know what wrong with going to hair appt. and tai chi. Sifu Anthony was already doing his sessions on line, will keep going to one at gym, which I do for health reasons, not because I particularly like it, until they close. I havent heard anyone say what they would consider an end to this craziness so Ill go until they say..not welcome. Hair still on but I did cancel dentist. Dont like it there anyway. If I felt the least bit bad I of course would never go out. Disney had people wiping down everything every time somebody moved. Get off the monorail..wipe before next person on. It was like that with everything. Im feeling pretty safe. I did see that while all stocks were dropping, the ammo stocks flew.
Gina, even with elective surgery cancelled, Im sure its buzzing over there. Job security lol

Got an email last night that my tai chi class has been canceled til the mid of May.
Oh well, still practicing at home. Rest of my appointments still on.
Life still goes on, albeit with more precautions. Stay safe!
