I envy you your strawberry plants. I'm currently living in God's waiting room, and I don't have any.

Those are alpine strawberries I think they like cold weather , they produce tiny berries.

The weather is springing up and down 80 one day and 40 the next
been digging for local plant sale
have almost 100 potted up still things in garden need dividing but running out of pots and energy
doing some clean up and mulching along the way.

Well the plant sale netted me some money and plants found homes
I am now a full week behind in garden planting and clean up
I have decided Not to do the sale again.It is much easier to find some one or two and have them come dig what they want.

The dogwood outside my window is in full bloom.

The cabbage,broccoli,and kohlrabi I planted quickly before the sale is doing Ok I was concerned because of the two cold( 26-28) nights

Yesterday was May day a very cold, dark, windy, wet day never out of the 40's
today not much better , just no rain.

I pulled the calla lily and four o clock tubers out of the garage
they both had eyes
ready to plant

Planted tomatoes and will finish planting peppers today
planted out herbs and mulched:
stevia, thyme,golden oregano,pink hyssop,and madder (new to me )
wish I had taken a photo of the beautiful yellow roots.

Planted snapdragons , coneflower , blue veronica, cleome, cardinal basil,and flowering tobacco in the cutting garden and mulched.
put in two hills of Minnesota midget cantaloupe to take over when the peas are finished

very pleased to see the woodland larkspur are spreading in the north bed.

I am dreading what is happening to my gardens while I am away for two weeks. Report from home is 90 and no rain in the forcast😕. Lots of seedlings coming up when I left home a week ago. I think the tomatoes will survive but may be stunted.

I'm praying for rain for your neck of the woods!
