I have the photos in my photo library, but for some reason when I chose one or more photos, they didn't come up on the preview before posting like they have in the past. I may try again later. The first time it said I was trying to post too many, so when I tried again a smaller number, they also didn't come up. Maybe it had something to do with it being an edited post.

Today I have released ladybugs🐞. Hope they will stay with us, we have a lot to offer! Never expected that gardening will be such fun!

All firefighters are HEROES! Just on the evening news yesterday they showed a large group from Africa. Some firefighters are from Mexico and the list goes on. I know that a few years back when we were close to evacuating our community the firefighters saved us all by controlling the fire and putting it out.

Absolutely agree and one of the reasons I bought the rose Firefighter, which, was named after the firefighters who died on 911. They risk their lives over and over to save people. God Bless them.

Just wanted to say that roses might have their own program how to grow.. . I have a few with the single cane and dancing around them and begging about basal shoots... no big luck so far. But the first year Distant Drums (was not looking as a strongest rose in my 30+ planted this season) gave a nice blooming bush and 4 (!!) basal shoots without any extra efforts.:smily:

Rosemary, you can only upload one at a time. So select one, upload, then select another, upload, etc. You can add them all to one post but only one at a time. I always click the Preview to make sure all my photos and text placement are correct before hitting the Finished button.

I'm pretty thrilled with my daughters 'Double Delight' bush that I planted for her in October of 2021. It's at least 4x the size it was less than 2 years ago.



Here it is when first planted (on the left). We did create a whole new bed for it, and the large yellow Itoh peony on the right.

The peony has done pretty well, too.

I mentioned earlier that I've been going out each morning/late afternoon picking or squishing off aphids and white flies. Today I went out and saw a bunch of tiny flies eating the rose eaters. There were almost no aphids or white flies on my roses. Nature to the rescue and I'm glad I didn't spray.

Thank you, Patricia. It's taken a while for this rose plant to produce a rose like this...it seemed like all last season it was more of an unfilled "promise," lol.
